Bogor, August 23, 2025. Q Square proudly presents the Q Square Kite Festival 2025, a spectacular celebration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day through the timeless tradition of kite flying. Held on August 23, 2025, the festival brings together kite enthusiasts, families, and the local community for a day filled with color, excitement, and cultural pride.
This year’s competition features two exciting categories:
• Fighting Kites (Layangan Adu) – showcasing the skill, precision, and thrill of traditional kite battles.
• Decorative Kites (Layangan Hias) – highlighting artistic creativity, with vibrant designs that turn the sky into a canvas of imagination.
A total of six winners from the Layangan Adu and three winners from the Layangan Hias will be crowned, honoring the participants’ craftsmanship, sportsmanship, and innovative spirit.
Through the Q Square Kite Festival, Q Square Lifestyle Park aim to not only preserve the cultural heritage of kite flying but also to bring people together in celebration of our nation’s independence. It is a joyful reminder that tradition and creativity can unite generations.
